Dan Amici, PA-C
Dr. Mazur’s Physician Assistant
Dan Amici grew up in a Long Valley, New Jersey. His interest in medicine started at a young age. When he was in high school, he became a certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) and volunteered on the first aid squad. Through discussions with his own primary care Physician Assistant, he learned about the profession. He was excited to find out about all of the medicine he would be able to practice, while at the same time forming a connection with his patients and knew that the PA profession was for him. Dan went to school at The Rochester Institute of Technology where he received both his undergraduate degree and graduate, Physician Assistant, degree. Following school, he completed a surgical fellowship at Rochester General Hospital. Dan’s favorite thing about working in urology is that he feels he can truly help patients and provide significant life-changing results whether he is treating someone older with prostate cancer or younger with fertility problems. There is always a wide variety of medicine in the urology field. At Urology Associates, Dan enjoys that all staff members take a special interest in each patient and take the time to get to know them and listen to their story. When he is not working, Dan loves to go on weekend ski trips, camping trips, hikes, or anything that gets him out into the sunshine. He likes to stay active, but he also enjoys relaxing and long movie marathons with friends or family.
