Anna Bukowski, PA-C
Dr. Piotrowski’s Physician Assistant
Anna Bukowski is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University and also holds a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Biology (with a minor in Art) from Georgetown University.
Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Anna completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Washington, D.C., spent several years living in Chicago, and later moved to Idaho for PA school. She ultimately chose to settle in Denver, drawn by both the vibrant community and the Colorado lifestyle she loves.
Growing up with two physician parents, Anna was inspired early on by the meaningful relationships they built with their patients and the trust they earned through compassionate care. She always knew she wanted to work in medicine. While working as a medical assistant, she discovered how much she valued developing long-term relationships with patients and was encouraged by mentors to pursue the Physician Assistant path. She was drawn to the versatility of the PA profession and the opportunity to spend meaningful time educating and supporting patients.
Urology is a specialty she finds both fascinating and rewarding. Anna values the ability to see patients regularly, build lasting relationships, and guide them through their concerns while celebrating positive outcomes together.
Her care philosophy centers on education, empowerment, and evidence-based medicine. She believes informed patients feel more confident and supported in their healthcare decisions. Her favorite part of being a PA is the time she gets to spend with patients — answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring they feel heard and understood.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, and making the most of Colorado’s beautiful outdoors with her husband.
