About Dr. Ramy Goueli
Dr. Ramy Goueli, MD, MHS is a board-certified and fellowship-trained urologist specializing in female pelvic medicine, reconstructive urology, neuro-urology, and complex voiding dysfunction. He is passionate about helping patients regain their independence, confidence, and quality of life through personalized, compassionate care.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Goueli was born in Minnesota and raised in Wisconsin near Madison. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with High Honors from Michigan State University before completing both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Health Sciences degrees at Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and then pursued advanced fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Goueli discovered his passion for urogynecology and neuro-urology during residency while caring for patients with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, and other neurologic disorders that affect bladder function. He was drawn to the specialty because of its unique ability to restore function and improve daily life for patients whose urinary symptoms often limit their ability to work, travel, socialize, and enjoy the activities they love.
His clinical interests include overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections, interstitial cystitis, neurogenic bladder, and complex urinary dysfunction in both women and men. He offers a comprehensive range of advanced treatments, including Bulkamid®, sling procedures, pelvic floor Botox®, sacral neuromodulation (InterStim®), tibial nerve stimulation therapies, bladder Botox®, and minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including Aquablation®, Rezūm™, and TURP.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Goueli has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and serves on the American Urological Association’s Practice Guidelines Committee for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. He is a nationally recognized speaker on topics including neuro-urology, overactive bladder, and BPH management.
Dr. Goueli believes the most rewarding part of medicine is helping patients reclaim their lives. He values building long-term, collaborative relationships with patients, setting realistic expectations, and serving as a trusted partner throughout their healthcare journey.
Outside of work, Dr. Goueli enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young children. The family loves the Colorado lifestyle and can often be found hiking, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying the mountains.
