Kristie Kokeny, PA-C
Dr. Eigner’s Physician Assistant
Kristie grew up in Buffalo, New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Integrative Physiology from CU Boulder, followed by a Masters degree in Biomedical Science from CSU, and a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University in lower Manhattan. Once finished with undergraduate school, Kristie worked as a chemist. Following that, she decided to go on to become a Physician Assistant because she wanted to work more closely with others and be part of a field where she felt like her work was making a bigger difference. She feels that she has found her calling as a PA. She finds it rewarding to be able to help patients both physically and emotionally and likes that she can help enhance their quality of life. She takes a special interest in urologic oncology as during her training worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. Kristie puts patient care as her top priority in her work. The patients are the sole reason she continues to love her work each day. In her free time, she tries to enjoy all the beauty Colorado has to offer. She likes to run, ski, hike, practice yoga, and loves traveling throughout the country and around the world.
