As we enter the season of gratitude, we reflect on the extraordinary people who make Urology Associates such a remarkable place. Our providers, leaders, and frontline employees meet every day with patience, grace, and unwavering dedication. “I am truly in awe of the commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our patients day after day,” says Rebecca Israel, CEO of Urology Associates.
One story in particular captures the heart of our mission and the profound impact each member of the Urology Associates team makes.
A Patient’s Gratitude: Honoring Kristie Kokeny
We recently received a touching reminder of the bonds formed within our clinics. Lloyd Gottman, a long-standing patient of Dr. Eigner’s who has been with the practice for many years, surprised our team this week with an extraordinary gesture. Deeply involved in the local Rotary Club, Lloyd donated $1,000 in Kristie Kokeny’s name, honoring the exceptional care she has provided him over the years.
Yesterday at our Littleton clinic, Lloyd presented Kristie with a Rotary certificate and delivered a heartfelt speech expressing his appreciation. Kristie was completely surprised—and deeply moved. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. They reflect the trust our patients place in us and the meaningful relationships built through compassion, skill, and genuine connection.
These Moments Matter
It’s easy to get swept up in the urgency and intensity of our daily work. But stories like Lloyd’s remind us all just how much these interactions mean to our patients and their families. Small moments, lasting impressions, and the consistent kindness truly make all the difference.
With Deep Appreciation
This Thanksgiving, we honor each member of the Urology Associates family and recognize the long hours, the thoughtful care, the professionalism, and the heart that they bring to work each day.
