At Urology Associates, we are committed to bringing the latest expertise and most advanced treatment options to our patients. We are excited to welcome Dr. Ramy Goueli, MD, MHS, a fellowship-trained and board-certified urologist whose specialized training expands the comprehensive care available to patients throughout the Denver metro area.
Dr. Goueli specializes in female pelvic medicine, reconstructive urology, neuro-urology, and complex voiding dysfunction. His passion is helping patients regain their independence, confidence, and quality of life by treating conditions that can dramatically affect everyday living—but are often difficult to discuss.
A Passion for Restoring Quality of Life
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Goueli was born in Minnesota and raised in Wisconsin before pursuing an exceptional medical education. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with High Honors from Michigan State University, followed by both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Health Sciences degrees from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
During his residency, Dr. Goueli discovered a calling while caring for patients living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, and other neurologic conditions that impact bladder function.
“I realized these weren’t simply bladder problems—they were conditions affecting every aspect of a person’s life,” says Dr. Goueli. “When you’re able to restore bladder function, you’re helping someone travel again, enjoy social activities, sleep through the night, and regain confidence. That’s incredibly rewarding.”
